An alumni of UNC Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science, Chase has been on staff since 2017. He has been a CrossFit Level 1 Coach since 2015. His previous coaching stints include CrossFit Winston-Salem, the UNC Greensboro Kaplan Wellness Center, a strength and conditioning coach with the UNC Greensboro Men’s Soccer Team in 2017, and currently here at CrossFit Chapel Hill. He prides himself in connecting with athletes on a personal level, exploring their “why?” and using that to fuel their motivation. Chase is a firm believer that CrossFit delivers a positive and rewarding stimulus, promoting both physical and mental benefits. Currently working on his Master of Physiology degree from North Carolina State University, he is taking practical examples of nutrition and fitness from the classroom and applying them to the gym.
