Our goal is to provide our members with a fun path to achieving their health and fitness goals. Getting fit and healthy shouldn’t be boring or monotonous. It should be fun, varied and done with friends!
People seek us out not only to get in shape, but also to take their fitness and training to the next level. People come to us because they want to see changes and improvements and become the best and strongest version of themselves. While we are competitive, we continue to build and strengthen our community. People come to our gym to find their people.
Why we are different:
We have the best coaches and programming. Coaches have been in the CrossFit community for over 8 years and are active members of the competition scene: winning and placing in competitions such as Sectionals, War of the WODs, Girls Gone Rx, Lakeside Rumble, Charlotte Comp., RTP, Cinco de Myo, and others.
With our programming and expertise, we see huge and fast improvements in the strength and skill levels of our athletes. Each new cycle, we create progressive programming designed to challenge and improve our athletes’ weaknesses. After 6-9 weeks of this specific training, our athletes’ lifts are stronger and skills are better.
We believe that CrossFit can and should be programmed in a way that allows every individual to improve his or her individual abilities. This means that our programming is thoughtful, progressive, and accessible to all skill levels, ranging from novice to competitive. CrossFit classes are virtually all an hour long, which is a short amount of time to get better at thrusters, handstand pushups, cleans, jerks, snatches, double unders, muscle-ups… you get the point. It’s hard to fit all of these things into a single session and continuously expand the margins of our fitness. But we do it. We consistently have athletes getting their first muscle-up, learning handstand pushups and walks, while still setting back squat PRs. We believe in embracing the gut-busting punch of a brutal metcon while also thoughtfully planning long-term progression. People want to get a good workout, but they also want to get better. As coaches, we work to help every individual become better.
Unlike other gyms, we take our own classes, so we know exactly what works and what doesn’t. We know what is too intense and what is not intense enough. We learn what is a useful progression and what is a waste of time. We constantly seek feedback from our members to let us know how we are doing.
